1. Delete your account in the app
Crew provides an in-app account deletion path for signed-in users.
Open Crew and go to Settings / Delete account. In some app versions, this may appear under Settings / General / Delete account.
Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app. Crew may apply a cooling-off period before deletion is completed. The app currently describes this as a 7-day cooling-off period.
2. Request deletion from the web
If you cannot sign in, have uninstalled the app, cannot use the in-app deletion flow, or need help with deletion, contact privacy@crew-app.com from the email address linked to your Crew account and ask for account deletion.
Please include enough information for Crew to identify the account, such as the email address, username, user ID if known, and country or region. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, verification codes, or identity documents unless Crew specifically asks for a safe upload method.
3. Verification and timing
Crew may need to verify that the requester controls the account before processing a deletion request. Crew may ask for additional information where needed to prevent unauthorized deletion, fraud, account takeover, or safety issues.
After deletion is confirmed, Crew may apply the in-app cooling-off period before the deletion is completed. If you sign in or cancel during the cooling-off period, the deletion request may be stopped where the product flow allows it.
4. What deletion covers
Crew account deletion is for the app account and data associated with that account. Crew does not currently provide a self-service flow to delete only selected data while keeping the account active.
Deletion may remove, deactivate, soft-delete, anonymize, or detach account data from active product surfaces. Public content, event records, messages, payment records, safety records, support records, or organizer/participant records may be handled differently depending on context and law.
5. Records that may be retained
Some records may be retained where required or allowed for payment integrity, payouts, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, tax, accounting, safety, fraud prevention, security, audit, backup, legal compliance, legal claims, app-store requirements, or provider requirements.
Retention does not mean Crew keeps the account active. Records kept after deletion are limited to the reason they are retained and may be restricted from normal product use.
6. Payments, subscriptions, and third-party services
Deleting your Crew account may not automatically delete records held by Stripe, an app store, payment networks, banks, map providers, Firebase, or other third-party services that act under their own legal duties or privacy notices.
If subscriptions, Pro features, or app-store billing are available, you may also need to cancel the billing relationship through the relevant app store, Stripe, or payment provider.
